Farmhouse Apartment at Top Acres Farm in South Woodstock

Come to Top Acres Farm where you can stay in a charming farmhouse and enjoy the Vermont countryside. Take a walk through our 35 acre meadow to the hilltop and view Mt Ascutney. Have a picnic or a campfire and wait for the stars to come out. Tour our sugarhouse and learn how maple syrup is made. Feed our hens and collect some eggs for breakfast. In winter you can snowshoe, ski, slide or snowmobile right from your door.

The upstairs apartment is spacious and light with a well equipped kitchen, dining room, living room and one bathroom. There are 3 bedrooms, one with a queen bed, and the other two with 2 twin beds each. Our guests enjoy the view from the big picture window and the claw foot tub in the bathroom. It works well for a family, a group of friends, or a couple. Many of our repeat guests are horse enthusiasts that are attending events at the Green Mountain Horse Association in the village of South Woodstock. The apartment has cell service, wifi, satellite TV and washer/dryer. Well behaved pets are permitted.

We are 1.5 miles from South Woodstock Village. In the village is a Country store that serves a delicious breakfast and lunch. Also in So. Woodstock is the Green Mountain Perkins Academy,and the Green Mountain Horse Association. We are a 15 minute drive from Woodstock and 25 minutes from Killington. Also near by are State Parks on lakes and local swimming ponds and pools.
