Join Us at the Lake!

Enjoy Lake Champlain this summer! Situated on five acres of park like property, 300' of shale beach, clean water and stunning sunsets, this is the place you have been looking for! 

Our four, simple, bright, and spacious housekeeping cottages were built in the 1950s and retain their period charm. Each cottage has a generous living room with large windows facing the lake, a fully equipped eat-in kitchen, two bedrooms (a queen bed in one and two twins in the other) and a bathroom with a stall shower. There is a picnic table and  charcoal grill for outside dining/cooking. All you will need to bring is your own sheets, and towels. 

There's plenty to do with top notch fishing right from the dock, clear water for swimming and easy strolls down the quiet road along the lake.  Read a book, row around and fish in our aluminum rowboat, or if you've brought a bike, take a 3 mile ride to the Bay Store for a maple Creemee. As evening draws near, watch the sunset from our lakeside benches and have a bonfire on the beach. 

Located at Samson's point (a dead end country road) on the Maquam shore, we're away from the hustle and bustle of traffic, but only a short 15 minute drive to St. Albans, a vibrant small city of 7,000 people. Enjoy the 26 mile rail trail that starts there, a short hike up Aldis Hill or an evening concert in the park. There are coffee shops and bakeries, two breweries, and multiple restaurants serving a variety of cuisines including Thai, Mexican, Italian, Jamaican, and contemporary American. If you are interested in bringing your boat, St. Albans Bay Marina is 3 miles away and can accommodate both sail and motorboats. They offer slips, docking, and fuel.
