Tanglewood Vista is a three-story Killington home with five bedrooms, three bathrooms and room for 14 guests. Snowshed Base is 3 miles away, Pico Mountain is 3.3 miles away, and the Mountain Meadows cross-country trails are just 1 mile from the house.
The house
The remodeled kitchen is ready for a full house, with a large granite island, counter seating, stainless appliances and the cookware and dishes needed for group meals. The long dining table sits beside the living room and its stone fireplace. Downstairs is where the games are: professional bubble hockey, foosball, streaming TVs and plenty of lounge seating.
Where everyone sleeps
The bedrooms are spread across all three floors. Two bedrooms each have a queen bed and a twin daybed. One bunk room has two twin bunks. Another has a twin bunk and a twin-over-full bunk. The fifth bedroom has a twin bunk plus a separate twin bed. The bunk beds use ladders, so keep that in mind when choosing rooms.
After a day outside
Come back to the sauna, soak in the hot tub when it is set up, or grab a spot by the fireplace. The large deck looks toward the mountains and has a grill and outdoor seating. There is also a yard and fire pit for warmer evenings. Hot tub setup is included on peak ski weekends from late December through mid-March. Outside that period, setup costs $195.

In winter, skiing, snowshoeing and cross-country trails are all close by. When the snow is gone, the area has hiking, mountain biking, golf and fall foliage. Killington K-1 Base is 3.7 miles away. Killington Golf Course is 3 miles away, and Green Mountain National Golf Course is 3.5 miles away. The Foundry at Summit Pond is 0.3 miles from the house, and the Pickle Barrel is 0.9 miles away.
