Two classic, adjacent, mint-condition Lake Champlain cottages, perfectly situated with spectacular western (sunset) and eastern (sunrise) views on Long Point in North Ferrisburgh. May be rented together or separately, depending on availability. Please note: Minimum one-week rental, Sunday to Sunday.

Long Point is an old-fashioned community which retains its friendly, informal atmosphere: dirt roads, clay tennis court, playground, bird watching, walks, kayaking and more; a relaxed pace of life. The waters around the point have become a favorite for bass and pike fishermen, young and old alike. Long Point is about a 30-minute drive from both Middlebury and Burlington, VT.

SWIFTWINDS: Cream colored camp. Beautiful, old fashioned cottage built in the early 1900’s. 4 bedrooms (1 queen, 2 doubles, 1 with 2 twin beds; extra dressing room suitable for infant crib). 1 1/2 baths. Living room, dining room, screened sitting and dining porch with full view of the lake and the Adirondacks. Grassy area and sloping rock beach, 20 feet to the water. Land crosses the road for bay/east views. Docks available on bay and open lake sides, shared with Spindrift. Dock availability depends on lake level. Mooring available for a fee, with notice.

SPINDRIFT: Red camp. Completely renovated with refinished antique furniture. 3 bedrooms (1 queen, 2 rooms with two twin beds). 2 full baths, new kitchen, washer/dryer, large screened porch, deck, and dining room with Adirondack views. Living room, small den. Grassy area and sloping rock beach. Camp is 20 feet from the water. Land crosses the road for bay/east views. Docks available on bay and open lake sides, shared with Swiftwinds. Dock availability depends on lake level. Mooring available for a fee, with notice.

Both camps:
Each camp has a gas grill and fully equipped kitchen. A/C in bedrooms and kitchen/dining area. Camps are unheated except for electric baseboard heat in Swiftwinds kitchen/sitting room. Wi-Fi/Internet service. No TV. Linens provided for fee. No smoking. No pets unless by permission of owner. Renters supply own watercraft. Jet skis are not allowed. Additional information

Clay tennis court, shuffleboard, childrens' playground. The community roads are all dirt roads inviting long walks at any time of day for birdwatching, exercise, sunset viewing. "The best soft serve ice cream in Vermont" is a 5 minute drive.
Point Bay Marina is across the bay for boat services.
Long Point is 35 minutes from Burlington (to the north) and Middlebury (to the south). Both have excellent restaurants, shopping, entertainment and museums. In closer proximity are Shelburne and Vergennes, lovely smaller towns with museums, restaurants and shopping.
Mt. Philo is 15 minutes away, offering a moderate, short hike (or auto road) to the summit with an iconic overlook across a wide swath of Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks.
Road biking is very popular, with many miles of backcountry paved roads running parallel to the lake.

We have divided the rentals along this 110-mile long lake, the sixth largest in the nation, into those south of Burlington, and those in and north of Burlington. The "islands" region in the northern part of the lake is accessible by causeway.
