Private tiny house on working gourd farm

This self-sufficient 176 square foot tiny home is located on a shared property and active gourd farm with the owners who are in residence year-round. Guests are welcome to explore the property’s gardens and forests, homemade disc golf course, and share s'mores over an evening fire. We value our connection with nature so use your stay to unplug and listen to the sounds of Vermont’s birds which are active on our property. We often see wildlife like bobcats or porcupines on our property. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, two-burner electric stove, convection oven/air fryer, and furnished coffee/tea station. The bathroom has a full-sized shower stall powered by 12 gallon hot water tank and guests must be comfortable maintaining a composting toilet during their stay. The living space has a Murphy table for dining and working on projects with an adjacent loveseat perfect for reading. A full sized bed with Purple mattress is in the lofted bedroom accessible via permanent stairs, which are rather steep. Inside, the sink and shower water recycle into the landscape making this a truly sustainable home! Only biodegradable soaps are permitted (provided with your rental fee).

Everything provided including linens/blankets, kitchen basics, private fire pit with a small cache of wood for your stay, and frisbees for disc golf. No television but WiFi available for your streaming services. Steps from Lewis Creek with prime fishing access within walking distance. Additional locked storage available, 1 parking spot. Keyless entry.

Located midway between Burlington and Middlebury, this is a serene landing pad for your Vermont adventure. Especially great for a couple’s romantic getaway, singles adventures, or relaxing retreat. Limit of two guests. Quiet hours after 9 pm. Minimum 3 day-rental. Bug spray recommended!
